Human Resources explained in less than 200 words...

Human Resources, more commonly known as "HR", is a growing field that many people don't fully grasp an understanding of. Since it is such an everchanging field, there are a lot of misconceptions when it comes to HR, when it is quite simple.

Human Resources ,by definition, is "the division of a business that is charged with finding, screening, recruiting, and training job applicants. HR plays a key role in helping companies deal with a fast-changing business environment and a greater demand for quality employees in the 21st century. In a nutshell, if an HR Consultant is hired their sole purpose is to improve the business internally leading to a direct reflection externally. An HR Consultant helps maintain a business and keeps the business running as smoothly as possible. The main purpose of Human Resources, as a whole, is to provide structure to businesses, they may unknowingly serve as the backbone of a business keeping everything in motion.

Human Resources is an important field that will continue to grow. An HR consultant helps employees feel listened to when they have something to say that may improve the business they are working for. When employees feel heard and are happy within their working environment they may get more work done, and are more efficient with their work which helps businesses flourish.
